The main reason knitting has been sparse (except for all those new projects that mysteriously appeared) 'round these parts? We're about to remodel our kitchen. The demolition begins tomorrow morning, so I've spent way too much time packing up dishes and the pantry and moving things into the garage. Verdict? We have way too much stuff.
We're gutting the kitchen, tearing down the wall between our kitchen and living room, and completely redoing the flooring, walls, and we'll have new countertops and cabinets.
Stay tuned as this becomes a blog about how awful it is to live covered in dust and doing dishes out of the bathtub. I'm so excited.
Fun! Plus, I had to comment, since your post popped up between me looking at your last post and commenting on it!ReplyDelete
Wow! We're totally in the same boat. The end of week one of a total kitchen re-do. Good luck with yours!ReplyDelete
Yeah, it's hell when it's going on. But it will all be worth it in the end. :) I look forward to seeing new kitchens for both you and Stephanie!!ReplyDelete

HOW EXCITING!! I can't wait to see how it comes out. We are wishing we could do the same thing, but alas, I have spent all our money on yarn.ReplyDelete
Just keep telling yourself how great it will be when it's done. And you may want to get some kneepads for dishwashing. ;o)ReplyDelete
Ooh, good luck! I know it'll all be worth it... may the getting there be as bump-free as possible.ReplyDelete
