Just in the knit of time
Finished up Hubbo's hat just in time for cold weather to return!
Pattern: Basic seaman/watchcap
Yarn: Paton's Classic Merino
Needles: Sz US 7 circular and dpns
Mods: made it a skotch longer
Thoughts: He loves it!
In other news I barely survived today. Add 1 sick teacher to 3 days off to 2 hours of lesson planning, one parent conference at 7:20 this morning, mix in a dash of progress reports due today or tomorrow with a sprinkling of no grades recorded since last week and top it off with 2 NEW STUDENTS TODAY and you have one very stressed out teacher. I honestly almost cried when one of the administration walked in to observe me this morning. Hubbo says that God has a twisted sense of humor, and today, I agree. Fingers crossed for a better day tomorrow!
Honestly, I'm so stressed out that I haven't knit a stitch - haven't had time!

Hope you feel better and today isn't so stressful for you!! Must be bad if you didn't get a chance to knit anything!

ReplyDeleteGlad you were able to finish your husband's hat in time for the cold! I'm sure he's loving wearing it.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear you had such an awful day. I hope tonight is restful and you can relax and regroup. Mondays are always bad, so when they're over, we're already on countdown to the next weekend!
The hat looks lovely - must be a nice consolation!
