During the purging and scrubbing the socks got washed too.
I was pleased to see that I can wash almost all of my socks in "pairs." - Two similarly colored pairs together. Must knit more "pairs."
Miles (the lab) likes to lick the wet wool socks. Momma does not like this. Grrr. But I have them all clean and ready for their trip to Indiana this weekend. Brrrr. Seeing all these socks makes me want to knit up enough to fill the entire drying rack. Soon.....
I washed my Sock Pal socks for the first time (it was too warm to wear them when I got them), and while they are reddish and blue, they turned the water hot pink. Sure am glad I wash like colored pairs together!
My apologies for the toilet picture. Sometimes ya just gotta do what ya gotta do.
We barely made it home with any daylight today.
They all look so yummy hanging there to dry. No wonder Miles can't resist licking them. LOL
ReplyDeleteI don't know which is weirder, the dog licking the socks or the cat who licks my hair. The socks look so pretty all there together!
ReplyDeleteWhat do you like washing your wool socks in?
ReplyDeleteOh, everything is so pretty.
ReplyDeleteGreat looking languishing socks.
ReplyDeletehonestly, I was eyeballing the socks and didn't even notice the toilet. I had to go back and "find it" after I read the end of your post! Your socks do look great though, even with the toilet :)
ReplyDeleteI love the way they all look like this - I have a rack like this at home right now!
ReplyDeleteWow, that's a lot of socks!
