I'm in the process of unraveling a large sweater jacket that will hopefully grow up to be the Leaf Lace Pullover. It's a bit of a pain to unravel, so I work on it in spurts.

I was planning to unravel the green sweater that Miles chewed holes in this spring, but the machine sewn seams made this a bit of pain in the butt. So it will be felted instead, and turned into something delighful, I'm sure.
That's a lot of unraveling! But I love that shade of blue. It will make a gorgeous Leaf Lace.
ReplyDeleteI usually run out of patience when I try to recycle yarn. Good luck with yours. I should try to do better with this too.
ReplyDeleteI noticed that you had already put some of your yarn into balls. Do you use a yarn winder? I was thinking of purchasing one, and I'd love your input as to what works well, etc. Do I need a swift, too? Thanks!
