(I had a big post typed up for today and Firefox shut down as I was loading pictures. And yep, I hadn't saved it. Sigh. Tomorrow.)
I'm woefully behind on the ABC along. Please forgive me.
P is for Paper. I love paper. Notecards. Notepads. Sticky notes. Lined notebook paper. Notebooks full of paper. File folders for holding paper. Yum. And I can never throw a unused piece of paper away. As a result, I have an entire file box filled with half used notebooks and notepads. I don't feel badly about this. I love paper.
Oh. My. God. I have the same "fondness" for paper. I have a bagajillion and one journals/notebooks that I've either never written in or have for maybe a doezen pages. A tower of sticky notes. And a box of stationary and notecards. And I love each and every one. Except, maybe, the stickies.
ReplyDeleteIt's comforting to know I'm not the only one. I wonder if there's a psychological term for this hording of paper?
don't feel bad, I'm the same way - I hoard all sorts of office supplies. The "back to school" isles in Target/Walmart/etc. just call my name, I can't resist - there's always a cute new notebook or pad of paper that I "need" despite the piles of of unused ones that I have at home. To make matters worse, I also collect stationary, and I like to do papercrafts like altered books and collages, which call for the collection of all types of various papers. My home is a major fire hazard!
ReplyDeletePaper. *twitch twitch*
ReplyDeleteI love maybe 10 blocks from Paper Source. I try to forget that.
Heh, I skipped O, did P, and am stalled there! Not An Artist just did N. Norma for some reason is on S. I think the structure is falling apart and anything goes!
Ooh, office supply stores. Good good times. Those are great photos - very evocative. Plus, you're a teacher! You never know when those notebooks will come in handy!
