My WIP list has been steadily growing this past week as I face many upcoming gift-giving events. Mother's Day, two impending babies and a birthday, and I'm one busy knitter. The little strip of pink is for me. We shall not speak of it, and it is not a new sweater.
The second Dublin Bay sock grows as well - it is in the gusset and growing steadily.
And I'm growing flowers! I love the shape of these leaves. If I'm remembering what I planted, these will be marigolds.
LOL - the 'not a sweater' is very pretty. And so are the marigolds. I love spring.
ReplyDeleteDon't you hate when a bunch of gift-events all come at once?? I'm sure you'll get everything finished though. :) So, what is the pink thing that we are not speaking of??
ReplyDeleteSo, if that was a sweater, which we know it isn't, what sweater wouldn't it be?!
ReplyDeleteYowza! I love that sock yarn!
ReplyDeleteSo exactly what (not) sweater is it that we shan't be speaking of? Evidently telling knitter that we won't be speaking of something doesn't work very well. ;o)
ReplyDeleteAdorable all around! And yeah, why did I sign up for two simultaneous sock swaps? Sigh. I want a new 'not a sweater.'
ReplyDeleteI love love looooove the yarn you're using for those Dublin Bay socks! Great colors!
ReplyDeleteMmmm.I love the pink you're using for the "shall not be spoken of" project. You have made us quite curious.
ReplyDeleteyour new flowers look more like zinnias to me!
