A is for....

A is for ADD:

From left to right - top row: Ribby Cardi, Baby cardi pieces (still not seamed), Turtleneck Shrug sleeve, Stripey Cardi sleeve, Whitby sock, Sockpal sock.
Bottom row: Back of Anouk, Jaywalker, yarn waiting in the basket to be wrist warmers, dishcloth, hat for sis, Leaf Lace Shawl, yarn waiting to be reborn as Leaf Lace socks.

A is also for Angela's Ashes.

I'm heading out the door to listen to Frank McCourt speak. Should be very interesting. I've never read Angela's Ashes, (though it's been sitting on my shelf since 1999) and I'm sure this will prompt me to finally read it. And his new book is about teaching! Fits right in.

  1. You should definitely read Angela's Ashes. It is a really good book. I read it when the movie came out and then bought the DVD when it was released. I don't remember much about the movie, but I do recall how much I enjoyed the book...Do have tissues, he makes light of a lot of his childhood, but some of it is truly tear jerking.

  2. Wow! You've sure got a lot of projects in the works! They all look great, too. I have Angela's Ashes on my bookshelf, too, though I haven't read it yet, either. I'd be interested to hear what you thought of Frank McCourt's presentation. Take care! :-)

  3. Lately I've been on a personal quest to read the books I own - kind of a book-stash-reduction project, and I've discovered some real gems (Nien Chung's Life and Death in Shanghai was probably the best). Good for you for going back to 1999.
